I'm Gina Loree' Marks, and I'm a shiatsu practitioner. (Huh? Shiatsu? = click here) 

I'm married to Louis Marks, and mom to four amazing boys. You can read more about me here.

Well, I'm an AOBTA certified graduate of the International School of Shiatsu in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.

I've been practicing shiatsu in Chester County, PA for the last four and a half years. ('Wow, that long already?' my husband interjects...)

My backstory is a long sordid tale involving art school, macrobiotics, homeschooling, Greenpeace, hip hop, Grateful Dead tour, and Quakers. You can read more of that exciting drama and intrigue here.

Grace in Gravity is like a dream come true for me in that I can justify spending hours and hours on the computer, writing, which I love, about doing stuff I love ... and people actually read it!

The blog started out as way to, ahem, "educate" people about healthy stuff, as well as try to demystify an otherwise foreign modality.

It's morphing into a place to witness the converging of all my life lessons in hopes of turning those into something useful.

Not only is my shiatsu education brought to bear in my work, but I'm seeing my experiences with homebirthing, unschooling, even my husband's obsession with surfing having relevance, and offering opportunities for metaphors, connections and aha! moments.
