Planting Peace

I have observed a number of debates concerning the appropriateness of bringing topics of peace and war into discussions about environmental responsibility. I, personally, believe that the issues of environment and peace go hand-in-hand, and I was pleased to see this sentiment shared by an organization I've been supporting for some time: the Organic Consumers Association.

The OCA has created an on-line resource center, called "Planting Peace"... providing 'news and activities that seek to build a powerful coalition to bring about cooperation and synergy between the peace movement, the climate crisis movement, and the organic community'.
