Seitan Cheesesteaks!

Just wanted to share what I made my boys for dinner last night, in the attempt to transition back to a healthier way of eating.

Satisfied almost all of the most discerning of cheesesteak eaters (except for 9 year old - he wasn't buyin' it... yet)

So easy!

Start with 2 packages, Westsoy Seitan Strips, thawed and sliced in smaller pieces

Saute minced garlic and fresh rosemary in spoonful of olive oil; add seitan, and favorite seasonings (I tossed in some garlic powder and Mrs. Dash)

Brush steak rolls with olive oil and minced rosemary, toast briefly in a 250 degree oven

Place seitan on rolls with slices of favorite cheese... back in the oven to melt the cheese.

Served with sauteed baby bella mushrooms (oilve oil, minced garlic, chopped parsley) for those who are into that sort of thing.

Salad on the side.. voila!
