Qigong in Exton!

It's coming up fast...

Starting Saturday, February 26th, at the Lionville Holistic Health Center in Exton, PA, Bill Bryan (of Triscale Massage and Bodywork) and myself will be offering a 12-week class* on Qigong, based on Dr. Yang, Jwing-Ming's book, "Eight Simple Qigong Exercises for Health".

What is Qigong?

Qigong (pronounced chee-kung) is a form of exercise ... gentle, mindful stretching movements performed with an awareness of one's posture and breath that have long been practiced in China to stimulate the body's innate healing functions, activate the immune system, open up stiff and sore areas of the body, and really get you moving!

Bill and I will also be bringing our experience as bodyworkers into the class, adding the perspective of western anatomy and physiology, to make this practice more relevant to modern-day issues.

We'll be presenting both the standing and sitting set of what is known as "Eight Pieces of Brocade".. giving you a series of movements that can be practiced anywhere... including an office chair or even in bed!

The $175 registration fee includes and hour and a half of practice and instruction, weekly hand-outs, and a copy of the book.
